We are so excited to announce our partnership with Slice Out Hunger, an organization that produces pizza-related events and campaigns to fight food insecurity across America. We have committed to providing $300 worth of pizza and slices to those in need during the course of the year...if not more!
Slice Out Hunger is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that has raised over $1.3M to fund hunger relief efforts around the US since 2009. Their founding principle was simple: use food donated by pizzerias to raise money for local hunger relief organizations.
Together, we can make a difference, one slice at a time!
More about Slice Out Hunger:
To fight a problem as imposing as food insecurity, Slice Out Hunger incorporated as a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 2015. We added a pizzeria membership program that asks pizzerias to pledge a donation of 30 pizzas or $300 to any local hunger relief organization annually. With this network of like-minded businesses, Slice Out Hunger is able to quickly produce effective campaigns.
